This position plays a critical role in the development and administration of Bonus Incentive Compensation programs. This role is responsible for administration of the Annual Broker Bonus Program, Sales Incentive Plans, Special Incentive programs, TPA Bonus Program and the Dental Network Bonus Program. This includes the annual plan design, system testing, data reconciliation and payment as well as customer service. Oversight of Sarbannes Oxley controls and MEUC (model end user calculator) compliance are key components of this role. This role is also responsible for supporting the license and appointment process for Distribution.
The essential functions and responsibilities of this job position include, but are not limited to the following: Collaborate with Distribution, IT, Finance and HR to define annual Bonus Incentive Compensation Plans Ensure that the Bonus Compensation Administration is appropriately aligned with goals, financially prudent, properly authorized, communicated and implemented Lead successful system testing of Bonus Incentive Compensation Plans, representing Client Services. Responsible for BIF data reconciliation including new sales, renewals, ABs and cancellations totaling $4B. This role will identify any data issues and partner with internal teams to implement resolution. Calculate and pay 50 Special Broker Bonus Plans Ensure timely and accurate compensation payments Ensure Key Controls are in place for all processes and are performed regularly Annual Oversight of Sarbannes Oxley processes including review of documentation and leading audit efforts Complete MEUC assessment process as needed Deliver excellent customer service to external Brokerage Firms and Internal Distribution organization, including training and issue resolution Provide Quarterly Management reporting and trend analysis Supports ad hoc data and analysis requests Coordinate Licensing and Appointment efforts for Distribution organization Manages a team of Business and Senior Business Analysts
Position Requirements and Qualifications:
Specialized Knowledge/Skills: Superior analytic skills ability to work with large data sets from multiple sources Excellent presentation skills present analyses/findings in a compelling manner Ability to work cross functionally and collaborate effectively with business partners Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ability to manage competing priorities work effectively and independently within time constraints Detailed oriented with strong organizational skills Strong management skills ability to delegate and develop staff Insurance and/or business specific knowledge/experience a plus
Education/Experience BA/BS degree 5+ years of business analysis and/or financial analysis High level of integrity and confidentiality Knowledge of the insurance or financial services industry preferred Compensation experience a plus
