Job Description:



Role Summary:



Sun Life is developing its robotics automation capabilities, and creating a US based team to identify, configure, deploy and support bots that can automate manual tasks and allow our employees to focus on higher-value activities.



As a Robotics Automation Support Specialist, your primary responsibility will be supporting the full lifecycle of implementation for robotics automation projects. You will participate in the process of design, coding, unit testing, and debugging of new robotics processes using the Pega Robotics platform. You will partner with the business users and manage the day-to-day system maintenance working with service providers, along with providing production support.



Main Accountabilities:



Support the Robotics Projects across Sun Life US by:





+ Tracking bot performance in production to ensure they are running as expected



+ Providing support for deployed bots including upgrades and configuration updates



+ Deploying and maintaining additional software to manage robots in existing environments



+ Managing and controlling bot configurations, environments and associated user groups



+ Obtaining account setups and access to various applications and environments as needed for the robotics team, testers and end users



+ Diagnosing, troubleshooting and resolving technical issues related to the bots, Sun Life applications, networks or individual user profiles and settings



+ Coordinating the deployment of the robotics software for team members, testers and end users



+ Developing familiarity with the robotics automation developer suite in order to make enhancements to existing bots and configure new bots



+ Developing a robust robotics support model for end users that incorporates the enterprise help desk and the robotics automation team



+ Helping to coordinate and support user acceptance testing



+ Exploring alternative robotics automation tools that may better meet specific use case needs (e.g., Blue Prism)



+ Collaborating and communicating effectively with various stakeholders

Competencies:









+ At least two years of experience in a technical information technology / application operations role



+ Demonstrated aptitude for successfully learning and utilizing new technologies



+ A strong understanding of Sun Life's application environments and the ability to effectively navigate its service and support models



+ A strong curiosity for learning new technologies and the ability to take on new responsibilities as needed to support the robotics program



+ Strong communication skills and an analytical mindset



+ A positive and productive attitude



+ A BA or BS degree is required
